Volunteer opportunities help support our mission by providing many needed services to the elderly and disabled in St. Joseph, Elkhart, Kosciusko, LaPorte and Marshall Counties.
Opportunities are available for meal delivery, home respite companionship, nursing home advocacy, grocery shopping, office support, housekeeping and handyman. Opportunities are also available for new program development, surveys and special events. Group service projects can also be arranged. Short and long term assignments are available.

Make a Difference Michiana is a non profit agency that aspires to be the conduit that connects the resources of the community with the non profit organizations of Michiana. We like to think of it as “one stop shopping” for all things non-profit in Michiana.
Michiana includes St. Joseph, Elkhart, Marshall, LaPorte, and Kosciusko counties of Indiana and Cass and Berrien counties in Michigan.
Who will use the Make a Difference Michiana web site? Everyone! People who are new to town looking for service providers; church youth groups, businesses, service clubs, families and individuals looking for volunteer and service opportunities; anyone who has ever cleaned out a basement, garage, or attic and has items to donate; anyone who prefers the convenience of donating on-line to their favorite local charity; individuals looking for support group meetings, programs, or an event which supports a non profit.
